I played it after making love to the love of my life… Every word and every bit of this song had to be one of the most beautiful versions ever, and the fact that she puts her all into it makes it all the timeless ❤

That I can still experience it and I have to cry! I think it's actually completely impossible for a small, petite girly to be so delicate and somnambulistic behind a bass that's bigger than her! And what else is she doing at the same time? To sing? This is the saying of a nightingale reborn a million times in the face of an angel. Not a song, but something higher which - me normal being, - now have to cope.

I remember the first time I heard Esperanza Spalding, I had just had an adenectomy and was watching some daytime TV, and she was on ABC or something, some daytime show live, and she just CRUSHED it and I loved that song (Precious) and listened so much to it. This is an awesome song as well!!! She is a great talent, and not enough people know of her talent in my opinion (I never hear anyone mention her when talking about music).

Love her playing! The tone of her bass though is to mid-range sounding to me.. It needs more of a lower tone I think. When the bass has to much mids. it becomes to present as like a tenor instrument. Even the stand up bass has to much pizz.. Must be the amplifier.. I'd never pay to see this person play. Im outa here..
